1. No Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

At Resulinx, we maintain a strict no refund policy for all subscription purchases. Once you subscribe to our Pro plan and payment is processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the service
  • Lack of use or failure to use the service
  • Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
  • Partial month or partial period usage
  • Duplicate subscriptions or accidental purchases

By subscribing to Resulinx Pro, you acknowledge and agree to this no refund policy. We encourage all users to thoroughly evaluate our service using the free tier before committing to a paid subscription.

2. Try Before You Subscribe: Free Tier

2.1 Free Tier Features

We offer a completely free tier that allows you to evaluate our Service before committing to a paid subscription. The free tier includes:

  • Up to 3 resume uploads & AI reviews - Test our AI optimization on your actual resumes
  • Up to 3 AI-generated cover letters - Experience our cover letter generation capabilities
  • Unlimited job application tracking - Track all your applications at no cost
  • Unlimited interview scheduling - Manage your interview calendar
  • AI keyword optimization - See how we improve your resume keywords
  • Full ATS compatibility score (0-100) - Get detailed scoring feedback
  • Smart job matching with Adzuna API - Browse relevant job opportunities

2.2 Evaluate Before Upgrading

We strongly encourage you to use the free tier to:

  • Test the AI resume optimization on your actual resumes
  • Generate sample cover letters for your target jobs
  • Explore the user interface and features
  • Verify the service meets your needs and expectations
  • Understand the value before committing to Pro

Because we provide this generous free tier, refunds will not be issued for Pro subscriptions, as you have the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the service at no cost.

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Automatic Renewals

Pro subscriptions ($9.99/month) automatically renew on a monthly basis:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew each month on the same date you initially subscribed
  • You will be charged the current subscription fee for each renewal period
  • Automatic renewals are non-refundable
  • You are responsible for canceling before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue

We send reminder emails before renewals, but it is your responsibility to manage your subscription.

3.2 How to Cancel

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

  • Cancel through your account settings dashboard
  • Contact support at [email protected]
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain Pro access until the end of the paid period
  • Your account automatically downgrades to Free tier after cancellation

Important: Canceling does NOT entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. All fees paid are final.

3.3 No Partial Refunds

We do not provide refunds for partial month usage or early cancellation:

  • If you cancel mid-cycle, you will NOT receive a pro-rated refund
  • You will retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period
  • All payments are final regardless of usage during the billing period

4. Limited Exceptions

While our general policy is no refunds, we may consider refunds or credits in the following exceptional circumstances:

4.1 Billing Errors

If you were charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part:

  • Duplicate charges processed in error
  • Charges after properly processed cancellation
  • Incorrect pricing or plan charges due to system error
  • Unauthorized charges due to technical malfunction

Action Required: Contact us immediately at [email protected] with evidence of the billing error. We will investigate and issue a refund if the error is confirmed.

4.2 Extended Service Outages

In the rare event of extended service disruptions:

  • Major Outages (48+ consecutive hours): Pro-rated credit or refund may be issued
  • Critical features completely non-functional: May qualify for partial credit
  • Data loss due to our system failures: Compensation may be provided

Action Required: Report outages to [email protected] and allow us reasonable time to resolve the issue before requesting compensation.

4.3 Fraudulent Transactions

If your payment method was used without authorization:

  • Report fraudulent charges immediately to [email protected]
  • Provide documentation of the unauthorized transaction
  • We will investigate and refund confirmed fraudulent charges
  • The associated account will be terminated for security

5. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are NOT eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

5.1 Change of Mind

If you simply change your mind about the service, decide you don't need it, or are dissatisfied with features, no refund will be issued. You should have evaluated these factors using the free tier before subscribing.

5.2 Failure to Use Service

If you forget to use the service, don't have time to use it, or simply choose not to use it after subscribing, no refund will be issued. You are responsible for utilizing the service during your subscription period.

5.3 Subscription Renewals

All automatic subscription renewals are non-refundable:

  • You forgot to cancel before renewal
  • You didn't notice the renewal email reminder
  • You no longer need the service after renewal
  • You found a different service after renewal

5.4 Account Termination for Violations

If your account is terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, you are NOT eligible for any refund:

  • Abusive behavior or policy violations
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Multiple account abuse
  • Violation of acceptable use policy

5.5 Technical Issues on Your End

Issues with your device, internet connection, browser compatibility, or other user-side technical problems are not grounds for refund.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

IMPORTANT: Contact Us Before Initiating a Chargeback

If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us at [email protected] BEFORE initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.

Chargebacks have serious consequences:

  • Immediate Account Suspension: Your account will be suspended immediately pending resolution
  • Chargeback Fees: You may be responsible for chargeback fees ($15-50) charged by payment processors
  • Permanent Ban: Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks result in permanent account termination and ban from our service
  • Collections: We reserve the right to pursue collection for fraudulent chargebacks and associated fees
  • Legal Action: Repeated fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action

We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and quickly. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication with our billing team.

7. How to Request a Refund Review

If you believe you qualify for one of the limited exceptions outlined in Section 4, follow these steps:

Our decision is final. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Changes to this policy will not affect refund requests for purchases made before the policy change. Your purchase is subject to the refund policy in effect at the time of purchase.
